Welcome to Earth Ethics

EarthEthics is about reconnecting with nature — nurturing your body and soul with wholesome, earth-sourced foods and remedies. In an era where modern medicine and agriculture rely on artificial additives and chemicals, we are dedicated to rediscovering and embracing natural methods of food production, as well as holistic remedies. By focusing on organic, sustainable practices, we bring back the authentic flavors and nutritional benefits of food as it was meant to be—free from artificial sweeteners, colorings, preservatives, or other synthetic ingredients.

At EarthEthics, we believe that natural food and medicine are not alternatives but the original foundations of nourishment and healing. On a journey to reconnect to our roots, we embrace the simplicity and purity of traditional food practices, guided by nature’s enduring wisdom.

The mission is to honor the tradition of natural food, inspire a healthier way of living, and encourage others to embrace the wisdom of nature. When we nourish ourselves in harmony with nature, we cultivate a deeper connection with the earth, sustaining the balance that supports us all.

Join Earth Ethics in a journey back to our roots—returning to the simplicity and purity of traditional food practices.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes your products vegan?

Our products are 100% vegan because no animal products are used in any of the EarthEthics products. Ingredients are carefully selected to ensure they meet vegan standards while still delivering exceptional taste.

Can I make a custom order for a special occasions/events?

  1. Yes, you can! Just reach out to EarthEthics via email, instagram, or facebook with your ideas, and we'll work together to create the perfect healthy treats for your celebration!

Do you ship?

At this time, EarthEthics is able to ship dried teas, cookies, fire cider drinks, and seasonings. Unfortunately, I am not yet able to ship oat cakes, simple syrups or chocolates—but I am actively working on it! Thank you for your patience and support as EarthEthics continues growing.

Where do you source your ingredients?

At EarthEthics, I prioritize sourcing high-quality, organic ingredients with a strong focus on local and Canadian suppliers whenever possible. All ingredients used in my products are certified organic and carefully selected to align with my commitment to natural, whole-food practices.

The maple syrup used to sweeten my products is sourced locally from Ripley Farm in Cumberland County, Nova Scotia. My gluten-free oats are sourced within Canada, and the majority of fruits used in my products—such as strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries—are also sourced from Canadian suppliers. When in season, these fruits are sourced directly from within Nova Scotia.

Some of the herbs, spices, and produce used in products such as fire cider are grown personally in my garden in Sambro, Nova Scotia, allowing for a deeper connection to the ingredients and their quality.

Certain ingredients that cannot be sourced within Canada, such as cacao butter, are ethically sourced from trusted international suppliers. As of June 2025, my cacao butter is sourced from Honduras (previously sourced from Peru), ensuring consistent quality while maintaining my standards for organic and responsible sourcing.

Overall, I am committed to sourcing as locally as possible, and when that is not feasible, I work exclusively with reputable suppliers who uphold the same organic, ethical, and health-conscious standards that define EarthEthics.

How should chocolates, and oatcakes be stored at home?

Chocolates, and ooatcakes should be stored in a cool environment to maintain their quality and freshness. They can be kept either in the refrigerator or the freezer, both of which significantly extend shelf life. When stored properly, chocolate, and oatcakes can last for several months, particularly when frozen.

Simple syrups should be stored in the refrigerator at all times. For optimal freshness and safety, they have a recommended shelf life of approximately 2–3 weeks.

Who actually makes the products?

All EarthEthics products are personally crafted by me, Ashley, right here in Nova Scotia. I independently manage every aspect of the business—from sourcing high-quality ingredients and developing recipes to production, packaging, marketing, and design.

Every product reflects a hands-on, small-batch approach, with careful attention given to quality, consistency, and intention at each stage. Since the beginning, EarthEthics has been entirely self-operated, allowing me to maintain full integrity over both the ingredients used and the final products offered.

This work is something I am deeply passionate about, and I take great pride in creating products that align with the values and vision of EarthEthics.
